Insomniac Nights

Engulfed in the silent dark night,
I talk to my conscience and fight
To prove my guilty desires right,
I argue with my conscience all night

The voices inside my head,
Echo all through the sleepless night
Changing my sides on the bed,
I keep waiting for the morning sunlight

A new dawn brings back the daylight,
I feel restless after the night long fight
I drag myself out to face the light,
Prepare for another long insomniac night.
